 Thepla Recipe

Thepla ek lokpriya Gujarati flatbread hai jo gehun ke aate aur masalon ke mishran se banaya jata hai. Ye ek bahu-uddeshiy vyajan hai jise nashta, dopahar ke bhojan ya snack ke roop mein anand liya ja sakta hai. Yahaan ek vistaarit recipe di gayi hai jisse aap apne ghar par swadisht aur praamanik Thepla bana sakte hain.


Ingredients

2 cup gehun ka atta (wheat flour)

1/2 cup methi ke patte, bareek kata hua

1/4 cup dahi

1 tablespoon adrak-hari mirch ka paste

1 teaspoon haldi powder (turmeric)

1 teaspoon laal mirch powder (red chili)

1 teaspoon dhaniya powder (coriander)

1 teaspoon jeera powder (cumin)

1 teaspoon ajwain

1 teaspoon til (sesame seeds)

2 tablespoon tel

Swadanusar namak

Aavashyakta anusaar paani (as needed)

Pakane ke liye tel ya ghee

Instructions

Aata Taiyar Karein:


Ek bade mixing bowl mein gehun ka atta, kata hua methi ke patte, dahi, adrak-hari mirch ka paste, haldi powder, laal mirch powder, dhaniya powder, jeera powder, ajwain, til, namak aur 2 tablespoon tel milayein.

Sabhi samagri ko achhi tarah milayein. Dheere-dheere paani daalkar naram, chikna aata goonth lein. Aata lachila hona chahiye lekin bahut chipchipa nahi.

Aate ko dhak kar lagbhag 15-20 minute ke liye rakh dein.

Thepla Belein:


Aate ko barabar aakar ke chhoti gendhon mein baant lein (lagbhag neemboo ke aakar ka).

Pratyek gendh ko sukhe aate mein duboayein aur 6-7 inch vyaas ka patla chakra belein. Sunishchit karein ki beli hui thepla saman roop se patli ho.


Thepla Pakayein:


Madhyam aanch par ek tawa ya griddle ko garam karein. Jab tawa garam ho jaye, to us par ek beli hui thepla rakhein.

Lagbhag 30-40 second tak pakayein ya jab tak satay par bulbule na aa jayein. Isse paltein aur pake hue hisse par thoda tel ya ghee lagayein.

Phir se paltein aur doosri taraf tel ya ghee lagayein. Spatula se halke se dabaayein aur dono taraf se sunahra bhura aur pakne tak pakayein.

Shesh aate ki gendhon ke saath prakriya ko dohraayein.

Parosein:


Garma garam thepla ko dahi, achar ya chai ke cup ke saath parosein. Ye raita ya chutney ke saath bhi achhi tarah se milte hain.
